About Sonia

Sonia Betty joined the ASF Board in 2020 and serves on the membership committee. She is an administrator with over 30 years of service in various leadership roles at Scotiabank. She obtained her Associate Banker designation from the Institute of Canadian Bankers (AICB), after completing her studies at the Ryerson Polytechnic University. Sonia has a long tradition of providing exemplary voluntary services to her community. She currently serves as the vice-president for the Ardenne Alumni Association; Board director, Hope Villa Non-Profit Housing, and secretary/committee member of the Revivaltime Tabernacle Women’s Ministry. She is empowered by her strong passion for assisting seniors and advocating on their behalf.
