About Tiney

Tiney Beckles is a founding member of A-Supreme Foundation and chairs the Outreach Committee that develops and implements programs and activities that engage seniors and the community and provide information to enhance their quality of life. Tiney worked as a Registered Nurse at Sunnybrook Medical Centre for 25 years prior to taking early retirement in 2013. She currently works part-time at Humber College as a Clinical Instructor. Tiney was instrumental in facilitating the development of the first Funeral Services Degree Program in the Caribbean offered by the Montego Bay Community College through assistance from Humber College. Tiney volunteers with several organizations in the GTA including the Jamaican Canadian Association of Nurses, Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada, and the A-Supreme Foundation.
